Items to Create for Project
The Big Picture Question is: How does where you live influence how you live?

1. PowerPoint about the area/country
  • Should include information on physical and human geography, culture, and a mapping activity.
  • Should be printed in handout format.
  • All 8th grade students will participate in research for this portion of the project.
  • A part of the class will be put in a group to develop the PowerPoint and present it to the 7th grade.

2. Footnotes and Bibliography of sources used – This should be included at the end of the PowerPoint.
  • All 8th graders will take notes in Noodles and develop citations for each notecard.
  • Each 8th grader will be responsible for developing his/her own bibliography.

3. Suitcases with labels for outline maps and a Passport reflection questions based on topic of study.
  • The suitcase can be a place to store all information on the Challenge 20/20 project. A part of the class will be put in a group to make the suitcases and labels then present them to the 7th grade.

4. Stations with activities –The information for this will be kept in the suitcase. A part of the class will be put in a group to develop the activity and present it to the 7th grade.
